I first met Tom when we were "little nippers" at Goodwood primary school and we became good mates. Unfortunately I lost contact with him when I transferred schools and only met up again briefly in Matamata a few years ago. Another connection with Tom was when his sister Jen saved me from drowning at Lake Karapiro when I was about 10 years of age. I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to all the family at this sad time. Doug Ansford - Warkworth, Nth Auckland
It was a great sadness when we heard of Tom's passing. The Wilsons and the Browns had such a wonderful history and Tom was such an integral part of the equine industry. We enjoyed the stories Tom would bring on the rugby sidelines as we watched our children play. He will be sadly missed. please accept our sincere apologies for being unable to farewell Tom on Friday Our Best Wishes to the family
