Gerrand, Barbara Dawn. Formerly Whiting. Nee White Peacefully at Malyon House, Mt Maunganui on 26th Jun 2024 with Ken at her side.
Dearly loved wife of Ken, Mother and mother-in-law of Kelvin and Karen Whiting, Brent and Jane Whiting and Craig Whiting, all of Hamilton. Grandmother of Rhys and Krizia Whiting, Sydney, Aust, Cory Whiting, Papamoa, Paige Whiting, Sydney, Aust, Harrison Whiting, Sophie Whiting and Nicole Whiting of Hamilton. Great grandmother of Sasha of Sydney. Good friend of Richard Bennett and Trish Benge. Stepmother and step grandmother to Greg and Kim Gerrand and Rhys, Ty and Kade Gerrand and Michael Gerrand. All of Hamilton.
As per Barbara’s wishes a private cremation has been held.
A memorial service will be held at Legacy Papamoa 53 Te Okuroa Drive Papamoa, on 13 July at 11 am.
Many thanks to the staff at Malyon House for their love and devotion to Barbara in her final months.
