Ron, my old mate of 60 years, or so, I have nothing but positive words to say to you, and judging by the comments at your funeral, it appers that everyone holds the same sentiments as myself. During our life time we enter into many friendships which of course are all valued, but in your case, you were one of the few, that was loyal, trustworthy, honest, and straight up, like " A BROTHER ". We both shared many great memories from our past, some of which were sad, but mostly full of humour, and valued as Brothers should. One of your finest attributes was the fact, that you respected people and treated them the way you yourself liked to be treated, and my mother always used to say to me, that you were her favourite out of all my friends because you had manners, and showed respect you your elders, and of which I fully concur. Lastly Ron, I was always impressed by the way you openly used to say to me how much you loved your wife, and wouldnt know what to do without her, and this was not only said in the early days, but right up to the end. Farewell my brotherly friend, and a service that you so deserved, after the life you have lived, although you would probably tell us all off for making such a fuss of you. R.I.P. Ron, We will always remember you. Your Mate Pat { Smucky ]

The Healey's are deeply saddened by the passing of Uncle Ron. Mike and Ron were brothers and best friends in life, and Mike and Charmaine have enjoyed a lifetime of friendship with Ron and Jazell. Mike and Charmaine will especially miss Ron's wonderful story telling! Ron, you are the family we get to choose along the way. It was by chance you and Mike met, and we are so grateful to you for being such a wonderful presence in our life. You taught us that people do not have be of the same blood to be family. We love you so very much. May you beautiful soul rest in peace. Dear Jazell and family, we are sorry to not be there at the service today but are attending online.
