POWER Connaught (Connie) Mary (nee Doocey)

Of Tauranga and Thames passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, 3 July 2024, at 95 years of age. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Michael, Anne and husband John, and her grandchildren: Sarah, Emma, Jessica and wife Mai. Connie, the eldest of eight siblings, was a source of strength and love to her large extended family and will be deeply missed.

Connie led a full life with her husband Graham, enjoying overseas adventures, concert music, and their beautiful garden. It is a great comfort that they are now together again.

A service will be celebrated at St Thomas More Church, 17 Gloucester Road, Mt Maunganui Friday, 12th July at 11:00am, followed by a burial at Te Puke Cemetery, 78 Dudley Veroce Drive Te Puke.
