We spent many a happy, drunken night in Steve and Annie’s company in London. Couldn’t wait for them to stay with us and meet our young family when they visited Blighty in 2008? Without Steve, we wouldn’t have had the trampoline in the garden where Alfie could practice his WWE moves with a large stuffed dog keeping us all entertained for hours! A giant of a man Steve was always Ruby’s bear and Luke smiled at his stories as only Luke could. We always wanted to sit on his boat, fishing and watching the Wales swim by when we retired drinking a beer as Stevie and Jimmy always did. We will meet you in the big pond Steve one day - both you and Annie are always in our hearts and hopefully Annie you still have a few dog hairs from our lurcher too that slipped in your bags when the two of you set sail back to New Zealand all those years ago.
