Born 7 September 1937. Died peacefully on 6 July 2024 at Auckland Hospital. John was dearly loved husband of Helen; father of Peter, David and Andrew; grandfather of Benjamin, Edwin, William, Katya, Alex, Elizabeth, Tom and Sarah; great grandfather of Mika and Jude; and brother of Judith, Mary-Ruth and Richard.
A service for John will be held in All Saints Chapel, Purewa Crematorium, 100 St Johns Road, Meadowbank, Auckland at mid-day on Saturday 13 July. It will also be live-streamed.
