MACKAY Jeane

Jeane, my wife passed away unexpectedly on the night of 8th/9th July 2024, aged 77 years.

She had been a champion swimmer when young and progressed to become a Registered Nurse, a Police Officer, Ministry of Health employee and investigator for the Health and Disabilities Commission. Devoted to her garden which she worked tirelessly in.

Jeane leaves a devoted husband and best friend Terry, sister and brother-in-law Lesley and David, brother and sister- in-law Stuart and Carol, niece Neisha and her husband Brett, and also her very close friends including Val, Gillian, Jean, Lucy and many others, including our beloved pooch Abby who she was devoted to.

At Jeane’s request a private funeral will take place. At a later date friends and family will be invited to a gathering in memory of Jeane.
