Bereavement pānui on behalf of the Lyttle whānau regarding the passing of their beloved Mother, Grand Mother, Great Grand Mother, Aunty and friend to many, Lena Lyttle, who sadly passed away on Sunday the 14th of July in Hutt Hospital surrounded by her whanau. Lena is currently laying in state at her whanau whare, where she will remain for one night. Whānau have advised us that they will be departing Nae Nae early hours Tuesday 16th July 2024 for Te Ahoroa Marae, 703 Rangitoto Road, Te Kuiti where whaea will remain for the duration of her Hui Mate. Whanau have also advised the funeral service will take place at Te Ahoroa Marae followed by a burial service at Puketoa Urupa, Thursday 18th July 2024, times are still yet to be confirmed.
