Dear Shirley, We were only 10years old when we first started writing to each other. How the world and our lives have changed in that time. I am sure if we lived nearer we would be best friends. I feel we have both seen many changes in our lives as we grew up , married and had our families. It was a holiday of a lifetime when in 2002 we visited you and Ron, and met all your wonderful family. Do hope you haven't suffered in your retirement years. Very sad to hear that you have passed away, but we have many happy memories especially of visiting you in New Zealand. R.I.P dear Shirley.
