Watson, Raymond "Ray". Passed away peacefully in his home on 15th July 2024. Dearly loved and missed by his three children Mariana, Jordan and Tahu. Ray will be missed by all who knew him. The service to celebrate Ray's life will be held on Friday 19th July at 11am at the Novotel Hotel, Tutanekai Street, Rotorua.  All communications to Watson family C/o 1358 Eruera Street Rotorua 3010.

Ray's work was characterised by a deep sense of responsibility and a relentless pursuit of better outcomes for all. Beyond his professional achievements, Ray was a mentor and inspiration to many. His wisdom, kindness, and generosity of spirit were felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He encouraged others to strive for excellence, to advocate for those without a voice, and to never lose sight of the human element in healthcare. Ray Watson's legacy is one of compassion, leadership, and unwavering commitment to improving mental health services. His impact will continue to be felt for generations to come, and his contributions will always be remembered with gratitude and respect. In remembering Ray I honor a life dedicated to the service of others and a legacy that will continue to inspire and guide us. A dedicated dad, and husband, a dear friend, and colleague. He helped Mould the person I am today, I thank you.

to Mariana, Jordan and Tahu, ray was a great man, i only knew him when i was younger. we had a lot of fun as kids, going out to karitane in aunty nani's old vauxaul i think, when we passed your house in pine hill our whanau always tooted as we passed your home, funny enough when i go home i still give a toot to say hi to aunty, our lives get so busy and we forget about whanau and its time like these that gives us a wake up call, love from my whanau to yours stuart kent,

Thinking of everyone who loved Ray today and sending you all my love at this very sad time. Mariana, Jordan and Tahu, your Dad was such a wonderful person with such a big heart.
