I met Annette through the Stroke Foundation in Hamilton, I had a mini-stroke and I think from memory Annette was more seriously affected by a stroke than I was. Rest in peace Annette, I hope to see you one day in Heaven. God Bless

Dear Dean, Jono and Liz I am greatly saddened to hear of your dear Wife and Mother’s passing. I will greatly miss hearing Annette’s sweet voice whenever I came into the room, I will miss her always wanting to help others. Annette was always cheerful, and always tried to have a smile even when she clearly didn’t feel like it.

Rest in peace Annette. You lived with so much courage and grace, no matter what obstacle life through your way. We will always be grateful for the kindness, care, and support both you and Dean displayed towards my boys. Blair sends his heartful love and sympathy from Cairns with Caleb from Whitianga. I always enjoyed our chats on the sideline at the boy's football matches. We will miss your cheeky humor and sparking smile. Love and hugs to Dean, Liz and Jono from the Bates Boys.
