Passed away on 19 July 2024 aged 84, at Waitakere Hospital after a brief illness. Dearly loved partner of the late John Bastin. Adored sister of Barry (deceased), Graham (deceased) and Athol. Much loved mother of Janet and son in law Roger Martin, Ian and daughter in law Marie Reid, grandmother of Stephanie, Daniel, Jesse and Gabby, great grandmother of Violet and Theo.
Anne's life will be celebrated at Central Park Chapel, 150 Central Park Drive, Henderson on 2 August at 2.00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Heart Foundation can be made through the link below and would be appreciated.

Anne was such a great part of my life when I came to live in NZ from Sri Lanka. I was her daughter Janet's flatmate and each time Anne visited Janet, I was made to feel part of the family too. Later Anne and John were honoured guests at my wedding, we were guests at their home and lovely meals and shared travel stories. I will cherish all these memories in my heart always. I'm sad that I couldn't see Anne in person for awhile as I'm living in Australia now. But she will always be a cherished part of my life and will live in my memory and also in the many beautiful photos I have of her. God bless you Anne till we meet again. I'm sure you will be so happy to be in John's company again. Love xx
I have many happy memories of Anne. I will always remember the lovely dinner at Anne and John's home, when I was visiting NZ from Sri Lanka. She will be missed by all. May light perpetual shine upon her always.
