Our family has many fond memories of our time at Tomarata with the Shepherd Families. We all remember Rod with a lot of affection for his caring nature and sense of humour. The Woolley Family - David, Bruce, Heather & Kevin

Only just learnt of Rod's passing. Rod was a lifelong friend of my parents Lloyd and Beverly Gravatt and family. He was the best man at their wedding and a mentor and church mate of dad in his younger youthful days. A quiet and humble man that always made time for a visit and cuppa. Rod was a tremendous support to mum when dad passed away in 2016 with his visits and listening ear. He aged well and always thought he would just keep on keeping on lol Condolences and best wishes to the family. I will certainly catch up with him when visiting mum and dad at Port Albert Cemetry.

Sorry we could not be with you today but was present on line ,remembering the great times together as friends and the time we stayed with you all at the farm before going to Orama on Great Barier Is. All so for all the help Rod & you all gave us on our return we enjoyed our times together,church ,meals and fellowship may the blessing of the Lord be with you all . Love Brian & Lyn
