In Loving Memory of My Mum

Today, we gather our thoughts and hearts to honor a truly remarkable woman—my mum. She was a beautiful, positive lady who radiated warmth and kindness to everyone around her.  She devoted herself to the noble profession of nursing. She tirelessly looked after others, providing comfort and care to those in need.

Even as she faced her own challenges and found herself in aged care, her spirit of service never wavered. She continued to look after those around her. Her nurturing soul touched the lives of many.

One of her greatest joys in life was her grandchildren. She created countless wonderful memories with them, filling their lives with love, laughter, and wisdom.  The cherished moments they shared will be treasured forever.

Mum, your absence leaves a void in our hearts, but we find comfort in the beautiful memories you've left behind. Tonight, we raise a night-time brandy in your honour, toasting to you and the love you gave so freely. Rest in peace, Mum. We will miss you and carry your smile with us always.
