LANG, Janet Anne. 12 August 1959 - 25 July 2024. Passed away in the loving company of her family and friends. Beloved wife of the late Neil. Cherished daughter of Neale and Anne Fairweather. Adored Mum of Brad and Adam, and mother- in-law of Clair. Amazing Grandma to Owen, Luka, Leo, Hudson, Miles, and Tessa. Loving sister of Tarynn and John. Loved niece, aunty, cousin, sister-in-law, friend, colleague, and teacher. A celebration of Janet's life will be held in the Manawahine Gym, Gate 2, Whangarei Girls' High School, Lupton Ave, on Friday, 2nd August 2024, at 1:00pm, followed by a private burial. In lieu of flowers, donations (in memory of Janet) to North Haven Hospice (www.northhavenhospice.org.nz/donate-to-us/) would be appreciated. Hi Brad, Clair, Adam, Neale, Anne, Taryn & John We are so sorry to hear about your lovely & beautiful Mum, Grandma, daughter and sister passing away. Janet was such a strength to all that knew her, we loved the times we spent with her. We so often talk about her and Neil and the fun times we all had together and especially Janet being so definite about life and what she believed in and how her and Neil used to have some incredible discussions, think she often won :) We caught up with her at the Kerikeri markets last year so that was so nice. We are so sorry we won't be able to make it on Friday as we will be in Christchurch with Danielle & Marcus two sons Jayden and Zac, they are now at university. I can hear Janet saying that will be good for them. Our loving thoughts, love and regards go to you all and we will be thinking about you on Friday. Love Deb, Gary & family xo
