Lesley was more than a cousin, she was a very good friend through our school years. Our families met regularly at Ngamotu Beach on Sundays and we begged our dad to drive us to Aunty Gwen’s for her legendary baking. I know how much you were adored by Elspeth and how seamlessly you joined our families for all of the important celebrations.
