HUNT, Maureen Frances nee O’Loughlin, formerly Madden:
Passed away peacefully at home on August 3, 2024. Dearly loved wife of Doug. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Lee and Nicky, Tony, and Vanessa. Loved sister, sister-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, and a very special friend to many.

Maureen was my mother’s first cousin, and was the loveliest woman. Mum was very fond of her and she couldn’t have been more welcoming when we visited Christchurch for the O’Loughlin family reunion. I came away with lovely memories of both her and Trish. My condolences to her nearest and dearest. Unfortunately I’ll be teaching on Friday but hope I can catch up with the funeral later if the link is still available xo
