"In Loving Memory of Uncle Siaki Lahi 💙 From the moment I first met you, Uncle Siaki, I saw in you the same warmth and strength I saw in Dad. You were bigger, taller, but with the same love and wisdom. Every time you visited Tonga, you always made time for Dad and us, sharing your stories, your laughter, and your wisdom. You stepped into the role of a father figure when we needed it most, and for that, I am forever grateful. Coming over to pay our respects at your final farewell was an honor. It was a blessing to stand with family and say goodbye to the last ‘tamai’ we had left. New Zealand will never be the same, Takanini will never be the same without you. But I take comfort in knowing that you’re up there with Dad and Uncle Tini, debating and sharing stories as always, with Nana leading the rosaries. Thank you for everything, Uncle Siaki lahi. Your guidance, your presence, and your love will always be remembered. We miss you dearly. 'Ofa lahi atu, with prayers always. Rest in peace."
