It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bernard Evans, aged 92, on August 10, 2024, peacefully at home in Auckland.

 Bernard was born on August 21, 1931, in Wolverhampton, England. He served honourably as a paratrooper in the British Army, later leveraging his mathematical and engineering skills in various successful entrepreneurial ventures. Bernard’s career in the engineering industry and particularly Mobil eventually took him to New Zealand, where he met and later married his beloved wife, Gretta. The couple travelled the world together for work and pleasure while raising their two children.

Bernard will always be lovingly remembered by his wife Gretta of 37 years, their children Duncan and Scarlett, Granddaughter Savannah, Son-in-law Wayne and Furbabies Jubal & Braxton.
