Jeanette was a lovely person with a delightful personality. We played hockey together but not in the same team. I remember once when during a game, Jeanette was running with her stick out in front of her and it jammed into the ground. (Probably uneven). It dug into her stomach and she was winded. She could not get her breath and I was totally terrified. I thought she was going to die! Never forgot that - she seemed so unconcerned and I was forever changed by that experience - not really, but it stuck in my mind as an awful thing to happen.
