Hi all … here to show love and pay my respects, to the whole O’Donnell clan … and share a fond memory or two, I arrived in Harrogate in 1985 from Canada and quickly found out who I needed to be around , and Iain was one worthy adversary, we quickly became almost inseparable, which of course one of the bi products would include weekends at the O’Donnell’s and everything in the middle , It didn’t take long to realize that Iain’s razor sharp wit , manners , and respect, was a direct reflection of his mom and dad , Mrs O’Donnell accepted me like I was one of her own , coming from a somewhat dis functional family myself , the love and acceptance I felt on old Kent road was like 2nd nature , she put up with alot , we were a handful as teenagers and that’s putting it mildly , but she also embraced our madness and allowed us to be what we were , kids . Whatever it was , be it an all night pool tourney , all night music sessions, or learning to drive stick in the driveway, she was there for it all , usually with a lot of food, like a silent governing body over a slew of crazy kids, a wonderful animated character she will always be … Rest in Paradise Mrs O’Donnell ,,, you’ve done real good Xoxoxo Love and Light from Vancouver BC

Kathy you will be missed terribly by everyone who had the pleasure of being in your life and knowing you. You have been in my life since I was 5 years old and I will always hold these memories forever in my heart. Sending love and strength to all the family.

What's to be said??? Apart from you were an amazing mother, you also took care of your mother & mother in law like it was nothing. You've been in my life since I was 11. You were there when my mum died. You were a constant. No matter the distance, you were my mumma. I love you. I know life has a circle, but sometimes it sucks. Kathy, first you were a wonderful neighbour then you became a forever treasured friend. Although far in distance,, seeing you was always like you still were just popping round from next door.
