MAHER, Alma Theresa (nee Gilligan). On 23rd August, 2024 at Waikato Hospital, aged 91. Former spouse of Terry Maher (deceased). Sister to Frank, Ted, Russell, Carol (all deceased) and Merilyn (Molly). Much loved mother and mother-in-law to Mike and Chris, Simon (deceased), Theresa and the late Peter, Fiona and Jon, Megan and Colin, Leo and Rosalie. Also Richard Calvert and Debbie Locke. Cherished nana of 16 grandchildren, their partners, and 10 great-grandchildren. A wonderful matriarch now at peace. Thanks to all at Waikato Hospital for their care.
A funeral mass will be held at the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 494 Grey Street, Hamilton on Friday, 30th August at 1.30pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
