Remembering "Aunty Shirley" on this Daffodil Day. I have fond memories of always being welcomed into her home to play - I particularly enjoyed the spider sodas! Shirley, you inspired me to play netball as my first netball coach - a sport I continued to play for 40 years! We will always remember you as kind and thoughtful. Hansen, Shirley Jean (nee Coates) Passed away peacefully on 22nd August 2024 aged 78 years at Harbour Hospice. Loved wife of Ray, mother to Johanna and Fiona and grandmother to Kiah, Coby, Jenna, Emily and Jacko the cat. and greatly respected by her extended family. A service will be held on Friday 30th August 2.30pm at Dils Funeral Services, North Harbour Chapel, 185 Snapper Rock Road. In lieu of flowers donations to Harbour Hospice would be appreciated.
