Dear Margaret, When we first met, you instantly welcomed me to the family as if you’ve known me all your life. You gave the best warm hugs and appreciate simple gesture like a phone call. You were so independent, not letting your vision hinder you from doing things you love to do. You had an amazing memory even knowing where the bumps on the footpath are when you go for your walks. Steve and I will miss taking you out for lunch each time we visit, and watch you push the potatoes around your plate. You were always part of our out-of-town trips. We will miss calling you on our way to our destination and back. You were a loving wife who supported Max in raising your family. You were a caring mum who always lent a listening ear to your children with no judgement. You were a great nana who spoke fondly of your grandchildren and of your memories of those who live far away. To many, you were simply a wonderful human being. You lived a life full of love, kindness, compassion, courage, and had a forgiving heart. You were the family’s pillar of strength. You have instilled values to your children which they will carry as they navigate through life. Thank you for the love you’ve shown me. Rest well now with Max and you will always be remembered with so much love. Love always, Mary Anne

This is a very sad time I realise for the family, but my wishes are with you all. I will miss her so much as I did when she left the banking job where I was working. We had so many laughs and good times. Margaret was such a great friend. I have to mention also Max was a great friend and we had many laughs when they came out to my property for afternoons. Margaret was fortunate to have such a special family which she adored and talked a lot about. Be at peace Margaret and up with the angels.

Mum - you were the one constant in my life. You were always there to share the good times and hug me close during the bad. Your inner strength and determination were incredible. I am going to miss our daily phone calls where we managed to talk about everything and nothing. You have taken a large chunk of my heart that will never heal, though I will try to fill it with some great memories that we created together. I am so proud to call you my mum. Give dad a huge hug from me. I love you both so much! xx

Nana, I hope you are now resting easy amongst the stars and angels and have reunited with our Poppa Max. I expect him to have taken you to the Pub, for an overdue date where you both will look down on us and talk about the old memories you have together, and the new ones he's recently missed out on. You will be taken care of. Loved and will never be forgotten, spread your wings Nana and be free. All my love, Emma xxx
