Bird, Anne: Of Feilding. Anne passed away peacefully at Arohanui Hospice, Palmerston North on 8th September 2024 at age 71. Loved Mum of James & Katie & Nana of Michael, Jessica, Paige & Henry. "The drinker of tea & the reader of books. Rest well Mum x x " Friends & family are invited to attend a service for Anne at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Cnr King & West Streets, Feilding, on Friday 13 September 2024, at 11am. For those unable to attend, the service will be live streamed at the top of this page. In lieu of flowers donations to Arohanui Hospice via the link below would be appreciated. To Anne, It takes a dedicated Christian to have the patience , love ,compassion and Christ-like wisdom to nurture teenagers. By God's Grace, Anne was that lady. She went up and above the call of duty, often mothering troubled young folk in her own home and then sleeping them on the lounge room floor. The house in North st was chosen for that very reason, it has a huge floor!! Dear Anne I will miss you , we will all miss you but we will meet again when Jesus returns to judge the whole earth, what an awesome time that will be,, as Christians we have nothing to fear ,on the contrary we rejoice, knowing He is preparing a place for us! All we did is BELIEVE IN JESUS and receive His Grace and try and live the way He did, after all He is the WAY the TRUTH and the LIFE John 14 v 6 thanks Anne
So sad such a caring soul has gone.
