Tributes

I saw David in Henry V in 1972 - and that meant so much when I discovered that he and Pamela were in love! My son Ben and Naomi were at school together and it has been good to stay in touch with her. What a special and deeply gifted man David was. May his memory be a blessing.

Thank you David for being our very best next door neighbour for almost eight years. You, your beautiful wife Pamela, and your families have made so many so good memories. We were very privileged having you here in Totara every day. Thank you.

It has been our pleasure to have met and been friends of David for many years now first met in San Francisco, he and Pamela came here and we took then to Carmel for the weekend . And the we came to New Zealand and we where there for a month and we traveled caravan style everywhere it was the trip of a lifetime one we will never forget and since then we had zoom calls every couple of months to catch up with each other very dear and cherished moments and memories are here with us always. You will be always and forever missed and never ever forgotten.

It was sad to hear that David has died. Such a sweetheart! We remembering hearing that there was someone special in Pamela's life and then got to meet him when she brought him to Michigan for a visit in 2003. It wasn't long before we were headed to Christchurch for the wedding! David had an inquiring mind and was a very patient teacher with us--teaching us about the history of NZ, and what it was like to be a business owner. We will treasure the time we had with him, and remember with fondness two of our recent trips, to New Caledonia and the Chatham Islands. Our hearts are breaking that we can't be there to be with you all. Know that we send our love and prayers. Xx Cynthia and Becky
