Wilson was a well-loved member of the NPRSA. Wilson and Mary were frequent attendees at our monthly RSA Days and a pleasure to have. Wilson had a great sense of wit and humour and always managed to put a smile on members faces. He will be sadly missed by all.

My acquaintance with Wilson was through the many years in the pharmaceutical industry. He was very well respected, working for the wholesalers John Avery Drug Company, H F Stevens Kempthorne Prosser in New Plymouth and managing Pharmacy Wholesaler Co in Hastings. Wilson kept in contact with me over the years with phone calls from time to time and we would reminisce for ages. I always enjoyed his company and it has been a pleasure to have known him George Roberts.

Back in about 1974 I met Wilson when we both became members of the Hastings Kiwanis service club. I think he was managing a company called Direct Imports at the time (I may be wrong with this aspect) and I remember that twinkle and his calm, educated friendly manner. We were good friends during that short period in our lives. I had wondered where he had gone after Hastings and I was saddened to see of his demise and my thoughts are with his family at this time, sharing their loss of a gentleman

To Wilson's family...Wilson and I got on very well together. As soon as I mentioned I was a cricket fan, we were friends forever😄 he always spoke fondly of his family and his wife. Always had a kind word to say to me, a joke (even if I didn't quite get them) and loved talking to the residents, his friends....I will miss you Wilson and will always remember you. God bless.
