Tributes

Bernie, we had some great times together especially our lunch outings we shared so many things. Meeting you all those years ago when our girls did ballet together. I will always remember those times with fondness and hold them dear. Rest easy my dear friend, so sorry I could not come and share in your farewell and celebrate your life. Unfortunately work had other ideas today, I was thinking of you all day. You were always an inspiration to me so determined, independent with a fun positive outlook on life. Fly high and god speed my dear friend xxx Bridget and Campbell thinking of you both today as you say goodbye to your beloved mum, she was fearlessly proud of you both. Take care love and hugs Lyn xxxx

So sad to hear of Bernadette's death... I have such fond memories of us hanging out as kids, then through St Peters College, to more recent years when she came to stay with Lee here in Auckland. Her battle with MS was always met with such positivity. I will always remember her laugh & her beautiful smile, such a lovely person. Sympathies, Mish Pepperell (nee Michelle Hurley) xx
