Bereavement pānui on behalf of the Henare whānau regarding the passing of their beloved Father, Brother, Uncle, Cousin and friend to many, Dion William Henare, who sadly passed away on Monday 23rd September 2024, surrounded by his whanau. Matua is currently laying at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Wellington Road, Wainuiomata where a evening service will commence on Tuesday 24th September 2024 commencing at 6pm. Dion and his whanau will aim to arrive at Ruawharo Marae, Opoutama, Mahia at 9am, where he will remain for Wednesday night. The whanau have advised Dion will then spend his final night at ‘’The Bach’’ in Waikokopu. The funeral service will be held on Thursday 27th September 2024 followed by a graveside service at Ruawharawhara Urupa.
