Passed away peacefully 20th September 2024, aged 89. Much loved husband of Teus, loved father of Rolien (deceased) and Cecil, Martin and Irene, Ellen and Brent, and loved Opa to 11 grandchildren and great-Opa to 9 great-grandchildren.
A service will be at the Mangere Lawn Cemetary on Saturday 28 September at 10:30 a.m.

Dear family in New Zealand. I have watched the link of the funeral. Get my condolences on the death of "ome Jaap". I think back with great pleasure to his visits to the Netherlands, but also to my own holiday (together with my mother "tante Wil", his siter) on your beautiful New Zealand. As soon as I look at a picture of "omee Jaap" I immediately see a lot of resemblance to my grandfather, the father of "ome Jaap". Both are no longer with us. That is a great loss for all of you.
