A kind and calm man, Uncle Nevil taught me the importance of responding thoughtfully to life’s challenges. He was present at every milestone, from my first day at orientation to cheering me on graduation, to picking me from the train station after work, to guiding me through my learner's test and driving lessons. While I sometimes found his methods difficult, I now recognize how they contributed to my development and helped mold me into the person I am today. Uncle played a pivotal role in shaping my future, providing guidance that was akin to that of a father. His invaluable lessons instilled in me a sense of gratitude that I will carry with me always. He helped me distinguish between needs and wants, and during my years of studies, his unwavering support was invaluable. His values have profoundly influenced my character and choices. Though he is no longer with us, his virtues will remain in our hearts forever. I pray that God grants his peace, wisdom and strength to Aunt Loretta, Lonelle, Neidene, Brendan, Mella, Miah and Jordan during this difficult time, as this is what Uncle would have wanted for his family. For II Thessalonians 3:16 says "Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all." AMEN

Dearest Nevil, I want you to know that you’ve meant so much to me. Words can’t say what I truly mean; I just want to say that I love you, I will miss you, and you will always be in my heart. Goodbye, my dearest Nevil. I won’t ever forget the golden time we spent together. Even though you’ve gone out of my life, you will be forever in my heart. Nevil Uncle was a fun loving person and as I say this I have all my childhood memories with him flashing back. Grateful for the moments I've had with him and cherish each and every memory. I know he is with the Almighty, and can't wait until we all meet again in eternal life. I end by the verse from Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future"

Though I only knew Nevil for a short time, he was a man who touched lives with his kindness, wisdom, and quiet strength.
