AVIES, Rees George “George”

On the 19th of September 2025 passed away with grace and courage aged 80 years.

Dearly loved father of Yvette, Rhys, Corina, and Jacinda. 

Much loved Grandfather of Steffan, Mikal, Liam,Natasha,Isaiah,Uriah,Rafe,Malakai,Azriel,Connor,Dylan, and William.  Much loved Great Grandfather of Peyton, Indiana, Eli, Kal,

Lincoln, Luna, Delilah, Addison, Lilly, and Robbie.

In lieu of flowers a donation to any Hospice (https://www.hospice.org.nz/donate) would be appreciated. 

Special thanks to the wonderful caring staff at Whangarei Hospital. You are all amazing.

A service for George will be held at the St Andrews Anglican Church Cambridge (85 Hamilton Road, Cambridge) at 1:00pm on Tuesday 30th September 2025 followed by a private cremation.
