Tributes

One of those friends where it didn't matter how long since it had been since we'd spoken or seen each other wed just pick up as if it was yesterday. And one of those relationships where I am very sad not to have touched base more often in the passing years. Pony Club and horses our early connection, family friendships developing and a life long connection with many memories. Always a strong character and sharp wit, lots of laughter despite your challenges. The world is a lesser place without you in it Angela. I feel the loss for your close family and friends. Much love to you my dear friend, give Jim and Kaye a big hug.

For a brief second, time stood still when I was told of Angela's passing, then shock and a deep sadness soon followed. I am so very sorry for your loss, Keith, Courtney and Carl and send you my heartfelt condolences. Sadly Angela, our paths did not cross for the past 20 odd years but there is and always will be a special place in my heart full of many wonderful memories of a beautiful friendship. You will never be forgotten, farewell my friend. May you rest in peace. xx

Karleen Craigie (nee Janes)

They have bought you home Ange. Your precious daughter Courtenay and beloved husband Keith have bought you Back to the North where we spent our young childhoods together. Where you rode and grazed your first horse Tiny before growing to become such an accomplished horse woman. These were the shores you loved and knew, before you flew to London where you continued your expertise with the beloved 4 leggeds and later you and I got into a bit of mischief once again! And when you returned you just went further and further north and now you have gone full circle and come back again. A 55 year friendship. There are many memories and pretty much all of them are funny - I always loved making you shriek and laugh - you reminded me so much of my mum making Kay laugh. Full of bluster and bravery I don't think I ever understood how much you really suffered and how well you hid it. You did not draw the easy cards from early childhood that's for sure. But we will be there tomorrow Ange, to honour you and never forget the parts you played in our lives and the imprint you left, and bring you back to be with Kay and Jim who I know you grieved and missed so terribly. Be free, happy and be among the energy of all those you loved and who loved you especially your 4 leggeds. To my oldest friend - its a sad day to accept that clock has stopped ticking at 55 years. With love and thanks for your presence in my life ... Dee xxxx
