Peacefully Taranaki Base Hospital on Friday, 27 September 2024 aged 94. Dearly loved wife of the late Frank. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Grant & Lani, Deanne & Phil and Brent (dec.) & Robyn. Loving sister of Carol and (Bill, Colleen and Heather dec.) Loved Nana of her 10 grandchildren and GG to 13 great grandchildren.

A Memorial service to celebrate Lauris’ life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 174 Lemon Street, New Plymouth on Friday 4 October 2024 at 2pm.

Lauris’s vibrant personality was reflected in her love for colourful flowers and style (pink shoes included!), symbolising her bright and cheerful spirit. She faced life's challenges with strength and resilience, inspiring everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her laughter, kindness, and the love she shared endlessly will stay with us.
