Robbie, Betty (nee Ratcliffe: Peacefully at Bupa Riverstone Retirement Village, Palmerston North, on 30 September, 2024, aged 97 years. Loving wife and soulmate of the late Ian Robbie. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Malcolm (deceased); Brenda (deceased) and Colin Leigh; Maxine and Phil Handford; Deb and Craig Fitzgerald; and Katrina Robbie and Dave Egan. Loving and supportive Nan to Kelly-Jane, Gemma (deceased), Anna-Maree, Dustin, Hannah, Matthew, Elizabeth and Liam. Adoring Great Nan of Isabella, Kaylis, Hadleigh, Darius, Quinn and Maeve. Betty took much pleasure from her close relationships with her wider family, neighbours and friends.

A service to celebrate Betty’s life will be held at Cotton’s Chapel, 697 Main Street, Palmerston North on Friday 4 October 2024, at 10.30am, followed by light refreshments in the Cotton’s catering lounge and interment 2pm at Kelvin Grove Cemetery.
