Davina (Peep) Matekino Merepeka Thompson (née Playle), passed away after a short battle with cancer. She fought hard right to the end and finished strong.

Peep will be laying at Rangiaohia Pa, Matatā from Wednesday 2 October. Coming onto the marae at 10-1030 approximately from her home in Kawerau.  Whakaeke times will be Wednesday - 1pm 3pm 5pm  Thursday - 9am 11 am 1 pm 3 pm 5 pm  Friday 4 October :nehu 9am Karakia 11 am
