Dear Grandad, Thank you. Thank you for a life time of happy memories. For Christmas days filled with smiles and joy. For birthdays spent feeling loved. For countless school visits, grandparent days and assembly’s. For time spent in the pool, in the sun with cousins and family. A cold one, a skinny cigar and a good cryptic are the things we will all happily remember you with. Our childhood selves all know and love you as the puzzle King, Mash lover, expert home video recorder and all around smartest man we will ever know. A man surrounded by many grandchildren, too much noise and a wee bit of chaos too. As adults we appreciate a different version of you. One that showed us that what matters to us is important, and that we have the power to prioritize that, whatever that may be in our lives. We will all be forever grateful to you and all you did for us. We know you loved us all and we all love you. Thank you Grandad xxx
