Met Danny through my Mum & Dad when they immigrated to NZ in the 1950s, a true gentleman and made my wife Joy & I very welcome when we visited NZ on our various visits tO NZ. Will always remember out tiki tours around the North Island with Danny & Janet telling us ‘ I built that one, I designed that one, I re-roofed that etc ! He always made us welcome and always had a story. A great husband to Janet, a true friend to Joy & I, RIP mate, thanks for everything

I was very sad to hear about Danny's passing a few days ago and to know that a kind and humble man has left left us behind. Danny would always give me good advice on life and always a good cup of coffee ! Will surely miss those coffees and chats good friend. Thanks for being so kind in every way you can. Until we meet again, may God bless your soul.

Having been a long time friend of Janet and her family she certainly couldn't have chosen a better man to be her husband. I have many fond memories of time spent together in the past in NZ and UK. RIP Danny.
