Passed away peacefully on Thursday 10 October 2024. 100 years well lived. Much loved husband of the Late Iris; dearly loved Father and Father-in-law of John and Anne, Mark and Julie. Loved Grandad of Caleb and Helena, Esther and Mark, Miriam and Andrew, Lydia and Fraser, Sarah and Jared, Jane and Shaun, Kevin and Kyla and Lauren. Special Great Grandad to his 14 great grandchildren. Loved brother of Nita, the Late Coie, and the Late Rex. Les’s service will be held at Shone and Shirley Funeral Directors, 164 Tahunanui Drive, Nelson on Monday 14 October 2024 commencing at 10:30am followed by interment at Motueka Cemetery, off Old Wharf Road, Motueka at 1:30pm. Special memories of Les and Iris who welcomed me into their home in 1972. It was a time during which special memories were made and gratitude remains in my heart for their Godly influence. Deepest sympathy to John, Mark and their families. Coral
