Tributes

Dear Nellie, May your soul Rest In Eternal Peace, Amen 🙏🏻💕 To all the family, special mention to Kelly and Ana, may God bless you and your families and give you the strength to get through this difficult time. I met Nellie in Australia many years ago when our girls were starting out at Netball, my daughter Emma and Daisy and Tenny. Kelly and Ana were the coaches for their girls. They were probably around 10yr olds! Emma and Tenny went on the play together for St. George reps. Nellie was a beautiful, kind and friendly lady and as was mentioned many times during her service, had the most beautiful smile. I seen every picture in the video attached, it was lovely to see and I even sang along to a few of the songs 🎶 🎶🎶.Such a lovely tribute ❤️ I also watched Nellie’s funeral service, I felt very much a part of it. I laughed, I cried and cried again. I heard every word that was said about Nellie, I felt the pain, the heartbreak but most of all the love for a beautiful Mum, Grandma, Sister, Aunt and friend. What a great tribute, you all should be so proud of the legacy Nellie and Herman passed on to you all. Yes, someday you all will be together for sure, beautiful song 🎶 From a Scottish friend may I say “You will never walk alone” Thank you so much for allowing me to be part of a celebration of Nellie Holtz life. Class act by all. Take care and God bless ✝️❤️❤️❤️

My dear Aunty Nellie, How grateful I to have had you as my Aunt. Wow - what a blessing. The stories, the warm hugs and the unwavering support, even from afar. I used to love when me and Dad would drive up to Takau and come visit you Aunty. We'd spend the day catching up, eating good kai and you'd ask about my travels and we'd exchange stories. When we'd be getting ready to head home, you'd give me a big cuddle and slip some change into my hands and whisper "there baby, go buy something beautiful in Italy and think of me" Aunty. I can only imagine how happy you are to be home with my Uncle. I know how much you missed him. Say hi to my Aunty Bub for me. Give my baby brother a kiss too. I will miss you Aunty. My cousins <3 He tino pouri e te whanau. How I wish I could be hugging you all up! Kia kaha. Tu Kaha. xx

Aunty Nells, I will always remember your humour, your frequent F bombs, your love of family, the stories that had us in stitches, your contagious smile, your generosity, your big heart & the way you made Pops laugh out loud. I’m grateful to have had you in my life. You’re one in a million Aunt and I will miss you dearly. I thank you for all you were and are to our family. A lifetime of memories, a special place in my heart. A chapter has ended, but you will always be remembered with love. Fly high Aunt, see you when I see you. My heart is with you all xx Cheri Parker
