Maurice Pine Down Kamizono passed away on Friday 11th October 2024.

Son of Morinosuke (Jimmy) Kamizono (Makurazaki-JAPAN) & Heni Wanoa (Te Araroa).
A loving and devoted husband of the late Hariata Ngoingoi Kamizono (nee Rangihuna), loving father to Wes Kamizona, Kaddie & Hiria Kamizona, the late Jimmy 'Pouch' Kamizona (dec), and Bub & Hubert Hovell, and a very special Papa to all his uri. Joined in unity once again with his siblings Thomas, Hinemoa & Noreen.

A gentle, humble and hardworking man that devoted his life and love to his uri.
We believe The eldest surviving player of Tokararangi Rugby and Sports Club in Te Araroa.
One of the last surviving drivers of the KLC's old fleet of 'Pacific Off Highway Rigs'.

Nga whakanekeke:
Maurice will arrive at Hinerupe Marae in the afternoon of Saturday 12th October. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11am, followed by burial at Tūmatauenga Urupa at the foot of Whetumatarau Maunga.
