Wonderful man a loving husband and father. We used to debate financial stuff when the family was in Napier. I see in the photos unc Ronnie --and I remembered when dawn n pat built (? harold holt?) we all worked on the house . Unc des and Ronnie were the builders -me and phil n david and probly unc johnny nd dad and unc ray and bronky were all there . As kids we did the barrow work for the concrete - and I remember dwangs ? Pat told me when flybuys was starting up-(somehow he was aware of them Ive forgotton)- it would add ??0.2% to inflation? as obviously nothings free.. So if you didnt get flybuys your subsidizing others because you pay more for everything .. its was a complex discussion. I remember vividly- we were at dians n rosses for something -- I had long hair as did most of us in the rocknroll era- somehow I still did-- he said to me you look like jesus. HE is a great guy we all loved him as family and we all know the familys huge issues -yet neither Patrick Nor Aunty Dawn complained. God bless you Patrick ... God bless all .
