Passed away peacefully on Saturday 12 October 2024, at Mayfair Lifecare, Riccarton, in his 100th year.

Dearly loved husband and soul mate of Lurline (deceased), for over 70 years. Loved and cherished father and father-in-law of Garry, Christine and John, Darkie (Keith) and Lynda, Leigh and Paul, and Peter and Cigdem. Loved grandfather of David, Andrew, Jason, Kane, Matt, Forest, Grace, Jack, Ceyda, and Emily. Loved great grandfather of Zak, Blake, Kade, Johnny, Charlotte, Maisie, and Tommy. Loved Uncle to all his nieces and nephews, and a much loved friend to many.
