Marjie passed peacefully in her own home as she wished, surrounded by the love and care of family and friends, on Monday 14th October 2024, aged 88 years.

Dear wife of Richard (aka Dick), deceased 2020. Loved precious Mum to Mary and Bruce Thomas, Rebecca Flowerday and Richard Horne, Rachael Flowerday and Reuben Mei-Edwards. Loving Nana Marjie of Steve and Angela Thomas, Anna and Sean Smith, Rory Flowerday-Horne, and Jonni, Georgia and James Mei-Edwards. Proud Great Nana to Emily and Jessica Thomas, and Ashley and Max Smith.

In accordance with Marjorie’s wishes, a private cremation has been held.

A memorial service to celebrate Marjie’s life will be held at the Matua Bowling Club, Levers Rd, Tauranga, on Thursday 31st October at 1pm.
