There are still some of us at Whangaparaoa College who remember Azure fondly. She was a quiet, kind learner and has her name on the Honours board in our auditorium foyer for Outstanding Contribution to Kapa Haka 2005. I am sorry that we only recently became aware of Azure's passing and therefore could not attend the tangi/funeral. Our hearts go out to Azure's friends and whānau. Sending aroha. Kia kaha. Lisa White.
