ESLER, David James:
The Esler family are sad to announce the sudden passing of Dave on the 29th October 2024 in Amberley. Treasured husband of Tina, and much loved father and father-in-law to Ryan and Alison, Clayton and Ruth, Cameron and Regan, Brendon and Sarah. Loved brother to Lynda, Robyn, and Vicki. Cherished Pop to Ashley, Lachie, Clay, Samantha, Jack, Abbie, Billy, Christian, Taylor, Andy, Louise, Madi, Harry, Macy, and Great-Pop to Coen.
A service to celebrate Dave’s life will be held at the Amberley Pavilion (The Tin Shed), Douglas Road Amberley, on Wednesday the 6th November 2024, at 1pm. Messages to the Esler family C/- PO Box 35, Rangiora 7440.

I played Golf with Dave on Friday 25th Oct. He had a great round scoring 40 stableford points. He was in good form, happy and displayed his usual friendly outgoing personality. As a reasonably new AGC member I always found Dave to be welcoming and positive. It shocked me to learn of his sudden passing. I send my heart felt condolences to Tina and the wider Esler family.
