RIP John Harrington, You loved life & your family John, this certainly came throught in your photo tribute. It has been a pivilege to have known you and to have this family connection between the Harrington/Fisher families, here on the Coast. Fantastic photo tribute of your life, in your funeral service. You were a hard worker John, and I remember you telling me also that you thought your Dad was such a hard worker he wouldn't get home until 2am in the morning, after his trip up the Grey Valley./Waiuta. on a Friday. Words can’t express how we loved, admired and thought about. Both John and Val who treated us like family. John gave me the opportunity to fulfil my life when I bought the CEB from him. From my heart sincerely he was the best man I have eVer met in my life. He was so positive, terrific sense of humour and spending time at the Harriingtons was an absolute priviledge. My childhood playmate. So sad you have gone Brun. But so pleased that we spent quality time together about 18 months ago. Should have come back again though, but our time goes so fast now at our age. Rest in peace my friend. The Patriarch has gone.

To John’s family - our deepest condolences to you with the passing of John. He was part of Mum & Dad’s lives since they were all little children on the Wild West Coast. They remained very dear friends for over 60 years! Many stories and fabulous times shared together. Lots of parties and great times.
