Hi Jan and family. It has been many years since we hung out together beginning with Rotaract see came “of age” and moved on we continued our friendship. Moving away to Australia in 1992, I drifted from the friendship circles that I left behind in NP. Know however, that I continue to have very fond memories of you and Kevin and the adventures that we shared. I send my regards to you and your family. I hope to catch up with you early in the new year. J

Having just watched the service and been left with tears, I have to say it was a beautiful service. Although we drifted in recent years, Kevin (and his brother Paul) came across to play with us on the building site, when he first moved in to Newton Hall, Durham. Although the friendship drifted, it was always there and memories of the good times we shared until he left for New Zealand, will stay with me. Respect to Jan and the family. May his memory live on.....and why ey yer bugger from us all in the UK

To Jan and family. Can not for a minute understand the sadness you must all be feeling at Kevin’s sudden passing. Have just watched his funeral service and loved hearing of his life. Have my own fond memories of those days on many adventures digging out sheep shit, working through night inserting bits into the paper. Congratulations on such a long and happy marriage Jan. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. They say God always takes back the good ones first. But it’s far too soon. With love Janine Miller

I met Kevin when I started working for Rockwell Automation in 2005 and worked with him through until he left. He was a wealth of knowledge and a good laugh to work with. I was shocked to hear of his sudden passing and my thoughts are with Jan and your family. Regards, Nathan

At ABB, we are all deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our colleague and friend Kevin. Such a happy, dedicated and immensely talented person. Always with a warm smile and willing to support and help when called upon by both colleagues and customers alike. Deliberately sought out for his depth of knowledge but also his kind and warm style. A very well respected and well known member of the electrical industry and community in NZ and Australia who is deeply miss. Kevin leaves a major gap to both in our organisation and moreso in our hearts and minds. He is very much already missed but will not be forgotten. I personally still am coming to terms with him not being with us and will miss having a laugh with him when next in NZ. On behalf of myself personally and ABB, I pass on our deepest condolences.

John Yandle and I are unable to attend, and want to pass on the pleasure it was to work with Kevin in the early days of Tolley Switchgear. Kevin worked for my Dad, Bram Breedveld and I know they both thought a great deal of each other, Kevin & Dad went on to S&S and Rockwell. I remember doing the "Top Team" with The Tolley group and having a ball. Kevin only being 4 years older than myself. I remember his huge music knowledge from his UK pub quizzes. Also a Lamp on the spit BBQ at his Dad's place that wa injected with litres of red wine. A fantastic sole taken too early. RIP Kevin, You are foundly remembered Kevin & Sarah, John & Kath

To Jan and family. Totally blown away to hear that Kevin had passed away. My heartfelt condolences go out to you all. I remember our Rotaract Club days fondly and the fun we used to have. This photo shows the group after we gave the zoo playground a tidy up mid 1980's. May he truly rest in peace.

I was lucky enough to meet Kevin back in late 2003 and worked with him for around 7 years. He taught me a lot and was a passionate and easy going fella.. over the last few years, when visiting New Plymouth we would sometimes catch up over a coffee and reminisce over our previous roles and with what’s new. Kevin’s one of the good guys. I will miss him heaps. RIP.

I am sorry to learn about Kevins passing. I valued Kevins easy going attitude which made it easy for me to look after my part of the business in NZ at the time. The thought of him being gone is not an easy one to fathom. I will remember my time with him fondly. My sympathy is with his family and friends.

To Kevin & Family, So sorry for your loss. While working along side Kevin, what a great time we spent together working chatting while driving around the beautiful NZ. We solved many of the ABB and world issue and had fun laughing all the way. You will be missed and go in peace knowing you are thought off across the ditch in all the best ways.
