Passed peacefully at Ashburton Hospital on Wednesday 13th November 2024 aged 80.
Loving husband to Beryl. Loved father and father in-law to Julian Walker (dec), Andrea & Mark Schrader, Vanessa & Don MacLeod, Sarah & Tim Hurley, Matthew & Cheryl Walker, Claire & Al Sheed, Cameron & Annette Walker. Grandfather of 23 and Great Grandfather of 4.
It was John’s wish to return home to Taranaki. A gathering for family & friends to remember John will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 46 Watson Street New Plymouth, on Wednesday 20th November at 10:30am. This will be followed by a burial at Opunake Cemetery, Halse Place, Opunake at 1:30pm.
