Born 12 November 1940 and passed away unexpectedly on 17 November 2024 at Middlemore Hospital. Very dearly loved husband of Glenis, precious father of Richard and Angela (Manurewa), Robyn (Western Springs) and Michael and Cheryl (London). Cherished Pops to Sarah and Hayden, Robert, Emily and Dylan, Benjamin, Joshua, Oliver, Rosa, Elizabeth, Theo, Jessica, Zara, and Hector. Forever in our heart's.
A service for Ian is to be held at St John's Presbyterian Church, 120 Great South Road, Papatoetoe on Saturday 30 November at 11am.

Ian was my rock and it is a huge shock to loose him. You will be in my heart forever. Dearly loved. Ian was a caring man and loved his family dearly. (Three children and twelve grandchildren).After that he loved his community and contributed to that in many ways. He was the fourth of five boys and only his eldest brother Ken is still alive. He loved his brothers dearly. Rest in peace my darling.
